With extensive experience in Deaf culture and a strong background in both diagnostics and aural rehabilitation, he brings a unique and highly valuable perspective to the practice.
Bryant specializes in comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and individualized aural rehabilitation plans—including amplification and advanced hearing aid technology. He works with patients of all ages, from pediatrics to adults, and has a special passion for supporting newly identified individuals and families navigating hearing loss for the first time. He also has a strong clinical interest in working with individuals with profound hearing loss, guiding them through their communication and technology options with empathy and clarity.
A natural educator, Bryant enjoys counseling patients on hearing health, communication strategies, and the full range of available treatment options. His approach centers on providing a holistic, personalized analysis of each patient’s lifestyle, family dynamics, listening environments, and long-term goals. This allows him to deliver highly tailored treatment recommendations, including customized hearing aid fittings.
Bryant is a graduate of Gallaudet University’s Doctor of Audiology program—one of the most respected programs in the field—and also holds a Master of Science in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Gallaudet. His passion for audiology began earlier, while earning his Bachelor of Science in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education from Radford University. He is licensed by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). He is also proficient in American Sign Language, further enhancing his ability to connect with and support Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing patients.
A Charlottesville native, Bryant has lived throughout Virginia and the D.C. area. Before joining Delaney Hearing Center, he completed his clinical fellowship at the University of Virginia and later worked as an independent contractor serving Veterans and active-duty service members.
When he’s not in the clinic, Bryant enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as camping and kayaking—especially in the beautiful natural settings of Virginia.
